Tamra just layed down for the night and it seems for whatever reason she may be with us again tomorrow. Earlier in the evening she had some labored breathing patterns and this usually signals the beginning of the end. She was also having a hard time clearing her throat because she is so week and so stuff was building up back there. To try and remedy this we put the bed in a more upright position so this could drain naturally down her throat. We also called Julie her hospice nurse and she suggested giving her some drops she had left for us that could help in drying this up. We have been doing that every hour or so and it seemed to be helping.

She is still very unresponsive because she is just so weak. We spent the night talking to her and around her because they say the last sense to go is your hearing. We hope that she can hear us. Bart also found a few more songs that Tamra had mentioned that she enjoyed so he was playing them on his computer for her. Whenever possible we would hold her hand and just tell her that we were there and that we love her. Just because she could not respond doesn't mean that she is not aware of us.

Bart is once again sleeping on the floor in her room just in case she needs anything in the night. I would like to tell him that it means the world to us all that he is not only doing this but all the many other arrangements he has been working on for a later date. Misty and Doug are always there for my mom but for Jack also. Anytime my dad needs to be taken to an appointment or just needs yard supplies to keep him busy they are always there. The same goes for Shane and Jamie. Not only are they there for my parents now but they have been for quite some time. My mother should be very proud!

We will have to see what tomorrow has in store for us. The one thing i can say about Tamra is that she is always full of surprises.

I love you mom...sparkle, sparkle, sparkle, meow, meow, meow.

Good morning,

Nina & Steve wanted me to relay their love again. Mom asked that i ask you to be sure and keep them updated, in another way if possible, because I, Jackie, will be out of town from the 22nd to the 1st and will not be able to let her know about the updates on this blog.

I am saddened that I may be out of town when the time comes and want you to know our thoughts will continue to be with Jack, Tamra, and the family. Please let Uncle Jack & Aunt Tamra know of my love for them.

With all our love and prayers

Steve, Nina & family

Nina wanted to say she appreciates what you, the family, are doing for your parents and knows how hard it is, as she was doing the same with her father just a couple of years ago and she wondered often why he was lingering, during one of those times one of her grandsons was with her and told her that it is not always for the one that is passing but for the loved ones and it was to allow them to serve. You are doing such a great job.

Love Nina
