Since i last posted a few things have happened. Tamra is doing as well as to be expected. She is from time to time experiencing changes in her breathing patterns. We can't quite tell if it's mental stress of if her body is beginning to shut down slowly. She did has 2 visitors this evening. Gary and Sharon Juretich came to she Tamra. They felt the need to see her before she left us and tell us kids about some of the trouble my mom and him got into when they were kids growing up. Who knew our mom was such a trouble maker. Tamra and Gary and Sharon spent quite a lot of time together over the years going out to dinner and just talking. I know this because when we talked she would tell me about it.
Mom is still unable to communicate verbally but she does make certain faces occasionally which leads us to believe she is still hearing. I should mention that Tamra over the last couple of days has had a low grade temperature and so when tonight we felt her hands getting quite hot we checked it. For whatever reason it has increased to 104.2 We got some cold wet towels on her and called the nurse to see if there is something else we should do. Julie suggested that we continue to keep her cool with the towels and to try getting an ice pack on her. We opened the windows and have tried to keep her cool. We just checked it and it's now at 103.4
As far as Jack is concerned he is still having a very hard time with this as one would think. We think that in the fog that he is in he may have been taking too much pain medication and sleeping aids and not realizing it. He has been very out of it and super tired over the last couple of days and was not sure as to why. We think he just doesn't remember if he took this pill or that one and so he has been taking more. We have solved this by making sure that Shane and Jamie are where he is to get his pills from now on so there will be no confusion in the future. Please if you can include him in your prayers. When Tamra does pass it will be particularly hard on him and all the support he could have would be appreciated.
I will let you all know if anything changes.
I love you mom...sparkle, sparkle, sparkle, meow, meow, meow.
