Well today was chets birthday and im sure my mom was watching over him...she was always watching over us kids...and birthdays were always made to be special by mom...also today one of our moms most special people passed away...patrick swayze...of all things pancreus cancer...our mom would melt when she talked about him...im sure it wasnt anything to do about his looks...im sure it was just because he was a dancer...yep...ok maybe alittle bit.....she loved his movie...and when she found out she had cancer..she at least was able to say...im in good company patrick is already in this too...now hes there and im sure my mom is going to see him...seems chets birthday is two times special for my mom...i think its neat of all days he would head back to heaven would be my brothers birthday....she would be sooo happy....after all death is only sad for us the living...for them its the most joyful reunion..maybe my mom and him can practice dance steps together....what a year...seems fitting for our mom to go on a year that great dancers have left us....michael jackson....thriller...one of my moms favorites....and patrick swayze dirty dancing.....seems heaven had a call for great dancers......what a year this is turning out to be...a year i will always remember.....love ya mom and happy birthday my big bro chet!!!!love you always your little bro shane..... :)

Yes i must say it was weird not having the traditional call from mom wishing me a happy birthday. It really
made my day hearing her sing a silly little ditti. To this day i remember her calling on the fourth of July and making fireworks sounds over the phone. God i love that woman!
I also love the gift she left us. She has brought all of us closer than we have been in years. I love you Shane, Misty, Bart and Dad. And most of all I LOVE YOU MOM!
